Being a Chick Has Its Perks…hehe

So as I stated in a previous blog, I am a female gamer. While playing WoW today, I experienced the ignorant statement of “girls don’t play WoW!” Now of course, this started an all out discussion of a woman’s participation in video games.
If you are a female gamer, or one of those that play a female toon, you know just as well as I do, that having a pair of breasts makes it a lot easier for you to group in major instances and sometimes even gives you special “perks”.
I am constantly in conversation with other players who have a specific attitude towards me, and then comes the “he” comment. So of course, I correct them stating that I am a “she” and wow, does their whole mannerism change.
Now, according to Wired.com, female gamers have more sex. Apparently of their sample of 200 women gamers, the gamers have sex 4.3 times a week vs. the 3.2 if she does not game. Don’t ask what the .3 or .2 is, I am thinking maybe a little self gratification or something. Who knows? So if that isn’t incentive to get your girl to play video games, I don’t what else is!!
If you think your woman is all about the pom-poms and ponytails, then I suggest maybe easing her into something like My Little Pony to get her acquainted with the functions of a keyboard and mouse. Of course I am being facetious about that specific title, but find out what her interest is and incorporate it into a video game. Maybe your “ratings” will go up. There is nothing better than to bring the 2 of you closer than some one on one game time, and some one on one after game time to celebrate your victories.

You’re right. I also play world of warcraft as a girl and once a guy was really mean to me and insulted me and I was insulting him and stuff and than I said it was annyoing he called em dude al the time and than he figured out I was a girl and he was nice all of the sudden. Really annyoing. But you’re right aboutt he fact that there are female gamers :)

personally it’s fucking stupid Our guild that I was in was greatly outnumberd with girls, hell they where even the superiors about 60/80 of our guild members where girls….so it’s total bullshit to discriminate someone who is a fellow gamer who can kick total ass shame that we dont see to many females playing FPS though I am sick of people saying OMG A GIRL NO WAAAAAAY! EAR CANDEH GO ON MIC o.O It singles out stereotypical nerds wich makes me piss myself but at the same time very ashamed of the male species -.- why arnt more dudes like me….wait not Im kinda a douchebag but Im a friendly retarded puppy kind of douchebag but at least I can admit it <.<
