Sending Us Back Into the Kitchen? WTF?

Ok, I am sure that most you women agree, the Wii is a great console! But WTF were they thinking when they made “Cooking Mama: Cook Off”??

Are they implying that we should be back in the kitchen cooking? And if we are not doing it in real life, then we should do it in game? Come on, it is bad enough that not only did they created the game, but also made utensil attachments! I feel like the prerequisite for this game is to barefoot and pregnant.

I know that this is not a new release; as a matter of fact this game was released March 20^th 2007. Maybe I am a little late on my acknowledgement of this game, but as you know, this site is relatively new.

So I am thinking, if this game was made for all to play, maybe the men should be in the kitchen making us some dinner or something! Or at least learn to cook, because I know some men that could really use a cooking lesson. Tossing mustard in some ramen and adding a small can of peas is NOT considered a gourmet meal, or even a nutritious one at that!

One more quick rant, what is with the name? Cooking “Mama”?! So this implies that it should be the mothers of the gaming world that should play this game? Ridiculous!

Well, this ends another absurd tirade, for now. But be sure that I will be back for another one soon, ESPECIALLY if another game like this is released. By the way, have I yet mentioned how worthless I think this game is? It teaches nothing but how to make a hand motion for a video game. Well I got a few hand motions for you Majesco!
